Three West Virginia players taking grad transfers

As spring practices start up, rosters are coming out, which means more grad transfers are springing up.

Today, we learned of three graduate transfers from West Virginia.

Chris Chugunov, a quarterback, will have two years of eligibility remaining once he enrolls at his new school this summer. Chugunov started the Mountaineers' last two games last season, but is unlikely to get a crack at the full time starting job this fall.

Jaleel Fields, a defensive lineman, will have at least one year of eligibility remaining. He appeared in 12 games a role player in 2017 and suffered an injury that cost him the full 2016 season, which could potentially mean he would get a second year of eligibility under the right circumstances.

Ricky Rogers, a wide receiver, will also have one year of college football left. He hasn't seen much time over his career, and is sure to be looking for more playing time at his next stop.
