A busy Friday of grad transfer to get you caught up on.
Raelon Singleton, one of Utah's top wide receivers last season, is taking a grad transfer to be closer to family. It's not guaranteed he'll play college football elsewhere next season, but he graduates in May and has a year of eligibility left, so there's still time to see how this plays out.
Tre Watson, a running back, is leaving Cal after an injury-shortened 2017 campaign. However, he posted 700 yards during the 2016 season, so he's bound to help someone on the football field next fall. He'll graduate in the spring and have a year of eligibility left. Don't confuse this Tre Watson with the Tre Watson who already took a grad transfer from Illinois to Maryland this off-season.
Cole Hedlund, a kicker, is taking a grad transfer from Arkansas after a frustrating career. He was a highly touted kicker before he got on campus, but never lived up to the hype and lost his starting job twice. He'll get a chance to start over as elsewhere after he graduates in the spring.
