Evan Shirreffs has announced his graduate transfer destination; the former Miami (FL) quarterback is heading to Charlotte. Shirreffs has had an interesting journey over the past few months. His grad transfer from the Hurricanes drew attention because of the restrictions placed on him by the former staff. But that's all in the past and he now has two years of college football with the 49ers.
Meanwhile, Jawuan Johnson, a linebacker from Northern Illinois, is taking a grad transfer. Johnson was a top defensive player for the Huskies last season, starting 13 games and racking up almost 100 tackles, 5 interceptions, and 5 forced fumbles. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
