Newly committed college football grad transfers

Here's the latest college football grad transfer news.

Jomon Dotson, an athlete who has played both corner back and running back, is leaving Washington as a graduate transfer and heading to Nevada.

Winston Dimel, a running back / full back, is leaving Kansas State, where he played for his father, and taking a grad transfer to UTEP, where he'll play for his father.

Adam Shuler, a defensive lineman, is taking a grad transfer from West Virginia to Florida.

Dimel and Thomson on the board

Two more names on the potential grad transfer board this evening.

Winston Dimel is following his father out of Kansas State. Dimel, a fullback, was an important contributor for the Wildcats this season. But the hometown kid is looking for another opportunity elsewhere to play college football. His father, Dana, left Kansas State to become the head coach at UTEP earlier this winter. The young Dimel said that didn't factor into his decision to transfer.

And Alex Thomson, a grad transfer quarterback out of Wagner of all places, is the focus of a great article by Pete Thamel. Thomson could be a name to watch this winter if the hype surrounding him his for real. Stay tuned.
