UMASS lands a grad transfer

Brice McAllister, a defensive back, is staying within New England as he leaves UCONN for the Minutemen. McAllister was recently granted a fifth year of eligibility by the NCAA after an injury ended his 2017 campaign. This is where the story gets compelling, though, because UCONN wasn't going to help him get that extra year. And that's why McAllister is now playing college football at UMASS. His grad transfer kicks in next week, when he will enroll at his new school.
