Fines only appeared in two games this season, but still managed to get a sack and forced a fumble. He is on track to graduate in the spring, and his departure has been confirmed by Miami, so it's likely he'll be seeking another school next fall.
Owens is a bit more of a surprise. He played in all twelve games for the Canes this season and had 32 tackles, including 6 in the bowl game against Wisconsin. He's a December graduate, meaning he can move on right away, although the U is yet to confirm that he's leaving.
