Weekend Updates

College basketball grad transfers seem to have slowed down a bit, but there's been quite a bit of movement for college football this weekend.

Joe Burrow, a quarterback, is taking his long-expected grad transfer from Ohio State to LSU.

Dallas Warmack, an offensive lineman, will graduate transfer from Alabama to Oregon.

Kiy Hester, a defensive back, is taking a grad transfer from Rutgers to Florida International.

Additionally, Cam Jefferies, a defensive back, announced his intention to seek a graduate transfer from Bowling Green.

Also Bobby Hartzog, a wide receiver, is now on the Other Grad Transfers list after announcing his grad transfer from Kansas to FCS Texas Southern.

NSD, Part 3 - Graduate Transfer Offensive Linemen commit

Marcus Applefield, a former starter on the Rutgers offensive line, is taking a grad transfer to Virginia. Applefield started ten games for the Scarlet Knights last season and had twenty five career appearances. He has one year of college football eligibility remaining and had previously announced his intention to transfer back in December.

Dwayne Wallace, formerly of Cal, is taking his graduate transfer to Ole Miss. Wallace played in twelve games in 2016, including nine as a starter. However, he left the Golden Bears before the 2017 season, leaving him with one year of eligibility in Mississippi.

Hilliman makes move to Rutgers official

It likely comes as no surprise, but Jonathan Hilliman is officially moving from Boston College to Rutgers as a graduate transfer. Hilliman is from nearby Plainfield, New Jersey and was a Rutgers commit at one time. He visited over the weekend, and this has seemed like a foregone conclusion since the news came out. He'll enroll at Rutgers next week.

BC's Hilliman a potential Grad Transfer

John Hilliman presents an interesting case. The redshirt junior is looking to play his college football elsewhere - maybe. He hasn't announced his intention to be a grad transfer. However, he's looking around. The running back originally committed to Rutgers - and he's taking a visit there. And he's a New Jersey native. And he's already graduated. Stay tuned.
