Drew Barker, who was expected to compete for the starting QB job at Kentucky in the spring, will instead test the grad transfer market. Barker had a record setting high school career in Kentucky before joining the Wildcats, but an injury and the stellar play of Stephen Johnson kept Barker on the sidelines for most of the last two seasons. He has made the decision to move on and try his luck at a new school, having finished his undergraduate degree last month.
LSU's 2015 leading passer is moving on. Harris lost his starting job in 2016 to Danny Etling, and it appears he will try to resurrect his career elsewhere. He has one year of eligibility left, and the early rumors seem to point to Texas as a possible destination.
