Isaiah Gentry-Madaris, a wide receiver, is taking his grad transfer from Minnesota to Miami of Ohio.

Tabari Hines, also a wide receiver, will be a graduate transfer to Oregon after spending his first four years at Wake Forest.

And Ryan Boyle is on the "Other Grad Transfers" list, as he will play quarterback for Indiana State next season, after taking his degree from Iowa.

Fitzgerald commit caps busy day

Lots to talk about today, and it makes sense to start with the committed graduate transfer. Davonte Fitzgerald, a guard, is leaving Minnesota for Steven F. Austin. Fitzgerald is getting a sixth year of college basketball after missing two seasons due to transfer and injury. He'll be reunited with his former coach, Kyle Keller, who recruited Fitzgerald back during their Texas A&M days. Fitzgerald averaged four points a game as a role player this season.

Kentucky linebacker Laster moving on

De'Niro Laster, a rotation player at linebacker, will be leaving as a graduate transfer after he graduates in May. Laster transferred in from Minnesota and played in five games last season before going down with a knee injury. Kentucky has growing depth at linebacker and also appears to be over the 85 player scholarship limit, so it appears Laster may have been surplus to requirements. Hopefully, he catches on somewhere else to pursue his grad degree.
