FCS player announces jump to the Big 12

Brian Lipscomb, a linebacker from the Virginia Military Institute, is taking a graduate transfer to Kansas. Lipscomb has been an important player for the Keydets over the last three seasons, appearing in 33 games and racking up more than 130 tackles. He has one year of eligibility remaining to play college football, and it appears that he will graduate in May.
