Two Auburn players taking grad transfers

Deon Mix, an offensive lineman, is on pace to graduate this spring. Mix has made only six appearances during his four years with the Tigers, including three in 2016. He's already seeking opportunities to play college football elsewhere next season.

Cameron Toney, a linebacker, leaves the Tigers under similar circumstances. Toney played sparingly over the last four years, logging seven career tackles. Auburn currently has 17 linebackers on its roster, so it seems clear that Toney's services may be of better use elsewhere. He will earn his degree this spring and leave as a graduate transfer this fall.
