FCS players move to FBS and other transfer news

Additionally, Demarcus Felton, a running back, plans to take a grad transfer from Texas Tech.

Plenty of football transfer activity

As the semester draws to a close and post-spring depth charts come out, we're seeing a spike in college football grad transfers.

Nick Harvey is now on the committed graduate transfer list. He's a defensive back and is leaving Texas A&M for South Carolina.

New to the Other Grad Transfers list is Matt Shiel, a punter who is taking a grad transfer to Mercer. He's a particularly interesting graduate transfer because he started his career at Mercer, transferred home to Australia, and is coming back for grad school where he started. This counts as a grad transfer because his eligibility clock started during his first stint on campus.

Three other players announced their intent to take grad transfers today:

Jalen Williams, Linebacker, Pittsburgh

Dennis Edwards, Offensive Lineman, Western Kentucky

Andrew Mike, Offensive Lineman, Florida

A bit of activity for college football as spring practices start to wind up.

Two grad transfer commits today:

V.J. Banks, DB, Rice to Colorado State. Banks is the fourth Rice player to commit elsewhere as a grad transfer this spring.

Seth Collins, WR, Oregon State to Texas Tech.

One potential grad transfer:

Abraham Wallace, DB, Texas Tech. This one is a bit murky, as Wallace already took a grad transfer to get to Texas Tech. But if he's completed an advanced degree, it seems reasonable that he's eligible again.

Tim Hough, a defensive back, is taking a grad transfer from UNLV. He'll be playing for Oregon this fall and will have one year of eligibility remaining
